Conference Grants

The European Physical Society make grants available to conference organizers to allow for the participation of young scientists in their meeting who otherwise would not be able to attend. Deadline to apply 1st December 2010.

Condition for participation:

Recipients of the grants should not normally have received their PhD more than 6 years (or equivalent) prior to the application and present a contribution, studying or working at a European institution or demonstrating economic need. The conference organisers will give an amount, not exceeding 350.€ to each recipient to support travel and expenses, and agree to waive registration fees. (maximum 3 grants accorded).

Selection procedure & criteria

A simple email to Ophélia Fornari (o.fornari@eps.org), requesting an EPS conference grant is necessary, including your Curriculum Vitae.
