WELCOME to NANOMETA-2022
Seefeld in Tirol, Austria
Established since 2007, this unique topical meeting features the latest breakthroughs in the field of Nanophotonics and Metamaterials. Due to the Covid-19 crisis, the uncertainty regarding international flights and our concern for the health and safety of everyone, the committee has decided to postpone Nanometa to 2022. The conference has been rescheduled for January 6 – 9, 2022.
The will organise the 8th International Topical Meeting on Nanophotonics and Metamaterials (NANOMETA-2022), which will take place in Seefeld, Tirol, Austria, from Thursday 6 to Sunday 9 January 2022. This will be the 8th conference in the series following meetings in January 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019 attended by many leading authorities in the field.
NANOMETA aims to bring together the international nanotechnology, photonics and materials research communities where most recent and challenging results and plans are discussed in the informal setting of a glorious mountaineering resort.
Beyond the broader theme of nanotechnology, photonics and materials, the topical focus of NANOMETA-2022 will be on:
- low dimensional photonic materials and phenomena
- plasmonics and metamaterials, quantum nanophotonics
- topological light and matter
- artificial intelligence and nanophotonics
- advanced nanophotonic applications.
Nanometa-2022 will feature plenary, invited and breakthrough talks. The technical programme will also include selected contributed papers in these areas.
The conference will be organised in two oral parallel sessions (Nanophotonics and Metamaterials) to take place from Thursday 6 January (all day) to Sunday 9 January 2022 (all day). The conference timetable will be arranged in a way that permits mid-day breaks for recreational activities and informal contact between participants.
